THE local community has the chance to put their questions to Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham at a question time event in Oldham this month.
The event will take place on Thursday, September 27 at Oldham Library’s Performance Space, starting at 7.30pm.
Partnered with key regional media, the event aims to highlight and answer questions on local issues, posted by the public. This is your opportunity to have a voice on the concerns that matter to you.
You can attend the session and pre-ask your question when you apply for tickets, or ask you question in person at the event.
Alternatively, you can join in remotely by emailing your questions to questiontime@greatermanchester-ca.gov.uk or through twitter on #AskAndyGM
Over the next twelve months, the Mayor is holding a question time with each local authority in Greater Manchester.
Doors open at 7pm, and you will need to be seated by 7.20pm for a prompt start at 7.30pm. The session will be live streamed onto @MayorofGM Twitter feed.
Time may run out to ask all questions raised and if this is the case, organisers will try to combine similar or related questions together.
You must submit your question for the event by Friday, September 21.
Ticket sales will end on Wednesday, September 26 and are available online:
