A SHOW commemorating the end of World War One and ahead of Remembrance Sunday is being staged at Playhouse 2 in Shaw.
The organisers of the evening, Shaw and Crompton Events Group, are promising a “musical treat performed live with songs, stories and images”.
‘Beat the Drum’ takes place on Thursday, November 8 and promises to be a lively night with plenty of audience involvement but certainly not a sombre occasion.
Tickets are priced at just £3 for the 90 minutes show which starts at 8pm.
Playhouse 2 opens at 7pm and facilities include a very reasonably priced bar selling beer wine, spirits plus soft drinks, teas, coffee and ice cream.
Additionally, there will be a raffle while the Royal British Legion has been invited to sell poppies.
