GET an intriguing insight into brewery JW Lees at the next Mahdlo Business Breakfast on Thursday, November 15.

Guest speaker William Lees-Jones, Managing Director of JW Lees, will talk about his early career in the advertising industry in London and his experience of leading JW Lees, which saw a record year in 2018 with a £71m turnover.

Starting at 8.45am at the Egerton Street youth centre, the event is free to attend and open to all business owners, leaders, managers, entrepreneurs and students from across Oldham.

Lucy Lees, Deputy CEO at Mahdlo, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming William to Mahdlo for the next business breakfast and hearing him talk.

“We really appreciate all our speakers giving up their time for a few hours to inspire and share their experiences with the Oldham business community.”

Claire Crossfield, Development Manager at Mahdlo, added: “These events are free for people to attend but as a charity we are asking if guests would consider making a voluntary donation of £5.

“This donation would be used to provide a year’s free membership for a young person who in in care or who otherwise could not afford it.”

Opened in 2012, Mahdlo is a state-of-the-art Youth Zone whichprovides activities and practical support for young people aged 8 – 19 (25 with disabilities).
