Running from December 20-22 at 7.30pm the popular pantomime, written by Barry Crossley, is filled with songs, big dance numbers and hilarious jokes to entertain all the family.

The story takes the audience on an exciting journey as Dick Whittington tries to outwit the wicked villain King Rat.

The cast, made up of members of the adult musical theatre group as well as the senior and junior musical theatre classes, has been busy rehearsing since September.

Linzi McCoy, Director of North Stars, said: “There is so much going on both in rehearsals and behind the scenes to make sure everything is ready for opening night.

“Rehearsals have been so much fun and we have been laughing non-stop.

“Everyone has been working so hard to make our first pantomime festive and fabulous and we can’t wait to arrive in the theatre just in time for Christmas.

“There really is something for all the family with a wide range of songs and brilliant performances from everyone involved. “
