Care Home Open Day is a national event providing local people an opportunity to learn more about the services at the heart of their community.

This year’s theme is ‘Linking Our Community.’

HC-One has decided to launch a ‘Big Sing’, inviting local choirs from across the UK into homes to come together and sing with residents, their loved ones, colleagues and neighbours.

All are welcome between 10am and 4pm to take part in this free open day, where you can listen to David Bushell and Amy Nickson providing musical memories for all while at the same time enjoying afternoon tea.

Shaw Side Care Home General Manager, Joan Walton, said: “At HC-One, we open our doors to friends, family, neighbours and local people regularly to offer kindness and support, and most importantly, to enrich the lives of our residents.

“We cannot wait to welcome everyone into the home to take part in what will be a fantastic day.”

HC-One has achieved a 9.2/10 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website www.
