THERE was Christmas cheer for all ages at a Carol Concert as school pupils and the community came together.
The evening was held by Oldham Metro Rotary Club at St James Church on Barry Street in Oldham on Saturday, December 1.
There was music from Crompton House School Band and singing from the choir from St Mary’s C of E Junior School, High Crompton.
And guests tucked into mulled wine, warm minced pies, orange juice and biscuits at the interval as they enjoyed the festive night.
The Carol Concert was raising funds for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice (Grace’s Place).
The total monies raised was £555, with the church, band and choir each receiving £100, and the Rotary Club made up the balance so the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice received £1,000.
