COUNCILLOR Ken Berry has been re-appointed as chair of Shaw and Crompton Parish Council for 2021-2022.
Due to Covid restrictions Cllr Berry was unable to raise funds for his chosen charities during 2020-2021.
Now, he has received a unanimous vote to continue for a second year and to help his charities: Age UK and Royton, Shaw and Crompton Blind Support Group based at Downey House, Royton.
Cllr Louie Hamblett was re-appointed as vice chair for the next 12 months.
