KIND-HEARTED OLDHAM Chiropractic and Physiotherapy made a special visit to Mahdlo Youth Zone to deliver sacks full of gifts and give members a Christmas they’ll never forget.
All toys and gifts were donated by customers, who instead of paying for their treatment at the clinic brought a gift that would bring a smile upon the face of a young person.
Gifts included Lego sets, tablet computers, perfume, various gift sets, books and much more. They were distributed to members who were recognised for their successes and achievements as well as their passion and enthusiasm for Mahdlo.
Sam Jobey, Practice Manager at Oldham Chiropractic Clinic, said: “We have been holding our Toy Appeal for the last 12 years. It’s something our guests look forward to and we even have drop-in gifts for those not visiting clinic that day, week or even month.
“We are extremely proud of what the team and guests have donated for such a great cause. It shows how tight our community really is. Mahdlo is an outstanding charity and we will continue to support them wherever possible.”
Claire Crossfield, Development Manager at Mahdlo, commented: “We want to say a huge thanks to Sam and the team at Oldham Chiropractic Clinic for making this a very memorable Christmas for our young people.
“We were blown away by the generosity of their customers and our young people were delighted with their gifts. The difference you’ve all made is something we cannot put into words.”
Leo Casey, Youth Work Manager at Mahdlo, added: “For some young people Christmas is not as magical as it should be and receiving a gift donated by Oldham Chiropractic Clinic really helped to bring some Christmas cheer.”
