THE MioCare Group is delighted to become the first Gold Partner of the Action Oldham Fund and support them with £5,000.
Part of the Action Together network, the Fund supports good causes across the borough with grants so they can make a real difference to local people.
As a thank you for MioCare’s (Made in Oldham) support, Cllr Fida Hussain (Group Chair), Cllr Zahid Chauhan (Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care) and Managing Director Karl Dean were presented with a plaque at their Failsworth headquarters by Clare Taylor, Action Oldham Fund Coordinator at Action Together.
Clare said: “We’re enthusiastic about our new partnership with the MioCare Group. With such strong businesses support and investment we’re able to fund more vital projects.
“There are over 1,200 voluntary and community groups enhancing health and wellbeing in Oldham, helping to rebuild lives affected by poverty, crime, isolation or unemployment.
“They are reliant on the generous giving from individuals and businesses. Thanks to MioCare for partnering with us to transform local lives.”
Karl added: “I’m delighted we’ve become a Gold Partner of the Action Oldham Fund. The value of their work speaks for itself and really resonates with us.
“This investment will have a positive impact on communities in Oldham and we’re really looking forward to working in partnership with Action Together to make a difference.”
Through its various services, the MioCare Group provides care and support to people across Oldham who are older and frail, have a learning disability, mental health support needs, a physical or sensory disability or a long term-health condition.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), it aims to deliver a better quality of life by promoting independence, choice and wellbeing.
