Two men have been charged after a man was assaulted during a robbery in Oldham.
Hussain Akhtar (10/01/1989) of Mallow Close, Oldham has been charged with robbery, dangerous driving, racially aggravated assault and common assault.
Rubel Amin (06/08/1992) of No Fixed Abode has been charged with robbery.
They were remanded to appear at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on 8 April 2020, where they were remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 6 May 2020.
At around 5.10pm on Monday 6 April 2020, a man was confronted in the car park of Gateway Retail Park, Chadderton, by two men who demanded the keys to his car. They assaulted him before stealing a bag from inside his vehicle.
Police arrived and following a short pursuit, two men were arrested.
