THE green light is being sought from Oldham Council to extend Crompton House C of E High School.
The plans for the Rochdale Road site have been submitted, with a target date for a decision of August 14.
The application details the proposals for a new three-storey teaching block over the existing multi-use games area along with a new multi-use games area to rear of existing Sports Hall.
The plans also seek the erection of a single storey extension to Clegg block, internal remodelling to the existing Selwyn and Milne Block, the demolition of the existing Ballard teaching block, and the creation of two new car parking areas.
If approved, the extension would see pupil admissions at Crompton House rise from 1,120 to 1,680 places.
