GMP has issued a warning to motorists across Royton following an increase in the number of reports received regarding tyre slashing.
Officers are investigating the matter and at this stage believe many more incidents have gone unreported.
The public is being asked to remain vigilant and report any unusual activity to assist police with their on-going enquiries.
