TWO FARE dodgers from Shaw have been ordered to pay a total of more than £850 after being caught without tickets.
Sharaf Hono, of Surrey Avenue, and Amber Sutcliffe were found to have boarded Metrolink services at Manchester’s Victoria station having not paid within eight days of each other in November.
In 24-year-old Hono’s case, he was caught on November 22 while 20-year-old Miss Sutcliffe, of Crossley Street, was found on November 30.
Both charges were proved at Tameside Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 4 and both were hit in the pocket.
For they were each fined £220, order to pay a surcharge of £88 to victim services and costs of £120, making the total £428.
That makes an accumulative sum of £856 and each was told tom pay by Tuesday, July 2.
