LOCAL group The Miners Band play their last music gig of the year ‘Another Room’ close to home at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham, on Saturday, December 21.
T hey are an acoustic rock’n’roll band that delivers an exciting set with a mix of ballads and faster tempo numbers.
The Miners Band line up comprises local singer/songwriter Lee James Cluskey, from Chadderton, on vocals and guitars, keyboardist Richard Ellis Hawley while Luke Webster plays drums.
The Miners Band, which practise at Sure Five Studios, Royton, and Wharf Mill, Dobcross, as they remain close to their roots, will be supported by four local music acts, Luke Jones, Mark Bramah, Jukebox John Walker and Lee O’Shaughnessy.
The music will between 6.30pm and 10.30pm and tickets are £5. They are available on the door or in advance from the Queen Elizabeth Hall box office 0161 770 4083.
The Miners Band released their debut EP ‘Here’s To The Old Days’ in the summer. They are also looking to bring out a first single and debut album.
