EASTER came early for the young and those slightly older thanks to the efforts of Shaw dance teacher Anna Kirkpatrick.
Toffee the Easter Bunny was a surprise and welcome visitor to a party for about 70 youngsters at St Joseph’s Parish Centre on Saturday, April 6.
With games, prizes and Easter banquet, including cakes supplied by Rachel Walker of Corner House Cakes, children had a whale of a time for two hours.
A few days later, it was he turn of Anna’s Zumba gold group to put on their Easter bonnets and bunny ears for a seasonal exercise class.
“The bonnets were amazing and it was great to help the ladies celebrate Easter,” said Anna. “They deserve the recognition.
“Toffee the Easter Bunny was a big hit with the children and I am really pleased that these parties seem to get bigger and bigger.”
