Win tickets for Andy Kershaw’s one-man show

ANDY Kershaw is a man of many talents and discoveries as anyone who attends his one-man show next month will certainly discover.

For example, the lad from Rochdale’s LP and CD collection weighs seven tons, he was banned from Malawi under the dictatorship of Dr Hastings Banda and ran away from university on his first day to go to see BB King.

Now 58, the former Hulme Grammar School pupil is bringing his two-hour show about his life, career and adventures to Sale Waterside Arts Centre on Friday, November 23.

And you could be there to hear more about the exploits of a man who has previously worked for the Rolling Stones, has won more Sony Radio Awards than any other broadcaster and was promoting major rock concerts by the age of 20.

The Correspondent has teamed up with promoters MP Promotions to offer a reader and their guest chance to attend the evening.
