CANDIDATES vying for your vote in the general election will answer questions from the public at an Election Forum event on Sunday, December 1.
The event will take place from 1.30pm-3.30pm at the Parish Centre on the corner of Lee Street and Station Road in Uppermill (not the Civic Hall).
There are seven candidates standing for the Oldham East and Saddleworth seat in the general election on Thursday, December 12:
- Debbie Abrahams, Labour Party
- Sam Al-Hamdani, Liberal Democrats
- Paul Brierley, Brexit Party
- Paul Errock, Proud of Oldham & Saddleworth
- Amoy Lindo, Independent
- Tom Lord, Conservative Party
- Wendy Olsen, Green Party
Written questions from the public are welcome. Send in advance to AlisonBrittle@gmail.com or bring on the day no later than 30 minutes before the meeting.
The event has been organised by the Churches Together in Saddleworth.
