CROMPTON FC has set up its own football academy called Roary’s Cubs’ Club on Monday nights between 6 and 7pm.
The new Academy is available for any youngsters – boys or girls – from the age of four, interested in an introduction to football.
A club spokesperson said: “It is totally focused on creating an environment that is both fun and enjoyable.
“But it also gives an insight into the kind of coaching that some of the older players at the club first encountered when they started playing football.”
Currently based over the winter indoors at Hopwood Hall’s sports campus, the sessions are run by Steve Grice and Damon Beverley.
The duo, between them, have over 30 years coaching experience in and around the North Manchester area.
“If you think your son or daughter would like to try out the Club then come along to Roary’s and give it a go.”
