Oldham solicitors help long-standing client secure Stockport investment

AN OLDHAM law firm has helped a long-standing client expand its property portfolio with the purchase of a commercial building in Cheadle Hulme.

Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers advised Gordon Haynes of Goyt Properties Limited on the acquisition of Stanley House, on Ladybridge Road, Stockport.

The building is home to small and medium-sized businesses, with 14 occupational leases in place. Goyt Properties plans to retain it as an investment, continuing to offer flexible workspace through short-term serviced leases.

With the property almost fully occupied, the purchase provides an established source of rental income and a base for future developments.

The deal also continues a relationship spanning around 30 years between Goyt Properties and Pearson Solicitors, which has advised the Haynes family as its business has grown.

Gordon said: “We were pleased to complete the acquisition of Stanley House as we feel it is an ideal fit with our property portfolio and provides us with a base for future developments. The building provides flexible office accommodation for a range of businesses and, with the property almost fully occupied, it provides a strong foundation for us as the new landlord.

“We have worked with Pearson for many years and have always valued their practical advice and understanding of our business. It was good to work with the team again on this acquisition.”
